Wild Asia held the scariest event of the year – the Halloween Party! Our guests were welcomed by a pumpkin Jack-o’-lantern and a festive cocktail - "Green Witches Blood".

14 SEPTEMBER 2012 - MALAYSIAN DAY CELEBRATION
Wild Asia held an amazing Malaysia Day celebration evening. Rose petals and candles were everywhere. Refreshing watermelon welcome drink waited for every guest of the Restaurant. Asian-themed music was provided by our resident DJ Energy. Guests took part in a quiz, and received sweet gifts, while the highlight of the evening was the Macaque monkey’s show.
19 MAY 2012 - AIWC SPRING BAZAAR
Wild Asia took part in the Almaty International Women’s Club Spring Bazaar that was held at Haileybury School in Almaty.
Wild Asia and other restaurants and catering groups participated to “feed the masses”, while a number of well-known local companies and groups as well as AIWC and Haileybury volunteers all did their bit.
The hard work from all involved successfully raised more than US$ 11,000 for good causes.
Wild Asia is proud to offer a 10% discount to all the members of the AIWC.
20 AND 21 APRIL 2012 - ALOHA PARTY
Wild Asia held a Hawaiian party - it was hot!
The traditional greeting Aloha ! and a garland of flowers awaited guests at the entrance - and a tropical theme filled the restaurant - from floral and other island decorations to the staff costumes.
The most popular cocktail of the evening - Crazy Pineapple - a fruit cocktail in a pineapple with a firework! Lovers of sweet things were also pleased by our special Hawaiian desserts - Banana Splits and Fried Pineapples.
Theme music and mood was provided by our resident DJ Energy. Cute GO-GO dancers in grass skirts finished off the evening.

28 MARCH 2012 - WINE TASTING OF OLD WORLD AND NEW WORLD CLASSICS
Wild Asia hosted a fine wine tasting of Old World and New World classics, where our guests enjoyed an exclusive opportunity to learn about the wines, the grapes and the winemakers.

23 MARCH 2012 – NAURYZ IN BALI STYLE
This year Bali celebrated its New Year on the same day as Kazakhstan – so we decided to celebrate Nauryz in Bali ! The restaurant was filled with flowers and the aroma of coffee beans (Java coffee is produced on the island of Java - next to Bali - and in the United States the term "Java" by itself is slang for “Coffee”) and guests enjoyed complimentary coffee liquors on arrival. The evening was rounded off by a fire dancer and the rhythms of jungle drums.

This Valentine’s Day the Wild Asia hosted a classical quartet and made sure there was a tender sweet atmosphere – full of cupids, hearts, candles and rose petals – in short an evening of LOVE ... because we always want to be sure that the special times you share in our restaurant are really special !
7 FEBRUARY 2012 - MALAYSIAN EVENING
The entrance of the restaurant was decorated with a picture of the King of Malaysia, the Malaysian flag, national musical instruments, flowers and candles. While traditional music from Borneo was playing, guests took part in a quiz, and received gifts, and the main highlight of the evening was a small monkey called Diana and her photo session with guests.

Seeing in the Old New Year became one more unforgettable events in January. There was an entertainment show program with Santa and his granddaughter, dances, competitions and gifts.
There was a holiday atmosphere in the restaurant, and guests were served with traditional Christmas turkey and warming mulled wine. In short, Christmas really came to Almaty this year.
10 NOVEMBER 2011 – LOI KRATHONG THE THAI “FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS”
Loi Krathong – the Thai “Festival of Lights” was celebrated at Wild Asia.
At the entrance to the restaurant, guests were welcomed with the traditional Thai greeting "sa-vat-dee" ("hello") a guests enjoyed live music, a Thai themed quiz, an exotic show and finished with a release of lanterns into the night sky at midnight, to celebrate the start of an auspicious date - 11.11.11.

2 NOVEMBER 2011 - ARMAND ASSANTE VISITS WILD ASIA
American Emmy Award winner Armand Assante visits Wild Asia.
Armand has starred in more than 80 Hollywood films including: Private Benjamin; I, the Jury; Paradise Alley; 1492: Conquest of Paradise; Fatal Instinct; Striptease; Gotti; The Mambo Kings; Judge Dredd; Killer by Nature; and American Gangster.

28 JULY 2011 - MAXIM AVERIN VISITS WILD ASIA
Russian film and TV star Maxim Averin held his after-party at Wild Asia after his “one-man-show” appearance in Almaty.
Maxim appears in numerous TV series, including "Gluhar", and is one of the leader actors of the theater "Satyrikon".
